My name is Scott Christy and I am the lead designer for SC Interactive. I’ve been a Business and Information Technology teacher at the high school and college level for over 28 years. SC Interactive, my freelance web services business, grew out of a simple need; friends that needed a web presence for their businesses but either didn’t have the time or know-how to build one on their own, or didn’t have thousands of dollars to hire a designer. That’s where I come in.

My passion is making technology easy to understand and use which might explain why I enjoy teaching so much. Over the years, in addition to teaching a variety of information technology and digital media related classes, I began helping my school district explore options in hybrid/online learning which lead to me piloting projects related to content management systems and online learning. Further, as a certified Microsoft Office Specialist and Google Apps for Education trainer I am uniquely qualified to deliver software training opportunities that align with the needs of business and education organizations. This combination of practical experience and technical knowledge is what makes SC Interactive so unique.
